Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Early Years Quality Manager to inspire, coach and develop outstanding practice across our nursery group. Working across our nurseries in Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Ipswich and Wembley, this role will lead quality improvement by supporting our leaders and Educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences, meaningful relationships and the highest standards of care. Through collaborative coaching, quality assurance and professional development, the successful candidate will ensure every child benefits from a consistent, nurturing and inspiring early years experience.

Responsibilities

Coaching, Leadership and Practice Development

The Early Years Quality Manager will spend the majority of their time within nursery rooms, coaching leaders and Educators to continuously improve care and education.

• Coach, mentor and inspire Nursery Managers, Deputy Managers, Room Leaders and Educators.
• Work alongside Educators within nursery rooms, modelling quality practice and providing real-time coaching.
• Develop leaders to confidently coach and inspire their own teams and develop their understanding of the Foundations to Flourish Curriculum.
• Champion high-quality interactions, respectful care, attachment-informed practice and child-centred approaches.
• Support leaders to create reflective, high-performing teams who are inspired to develop themselves continuously.
• Identify strengths and development opportunities through observations and coaching conversations.
• Celebrate excellent practice and share successful approaches across Twizzle Tops.
• Promote a culture where coaching, reflection and continuous improvement are embedded into everyday practice.

Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

• Complete 2 Twizzle Tops Audits within every nursery each year.
• Undertake monthly quality assurance visits across all nursery settings.
• Produce detailed quality visit reports within agreed timescales, identifying strengths, recommendations and clear actions.
• Work alongside Nursery Managers to develop, implement and review Quality Improvement Plans.
• Monitor progress against agreed actions and provide ongoing coaching and support.
• Analyse quality trends across the nursery group and provide recommendations to the Managing Director/operations lead.
• Promote consistency in practice, curriculum implementation and children’s experiences across all settings.

Compliance

• Ensure every nursery consistently operates in accordance with:
• The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Safeguarding legislation
• Health and Safety legislation
• Twizzle Tops policies and procedures
• Relevant statutory guidance.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures remain current, compliant and embedded into everyday practice.
• Support leaders to implement policies effectively through coaching rather than compliance alone.
• Monitor statutory compliance through audits, observations and quality assurance visits.
• Ensure actions arising from audits, incidents or compliance monitoring are completed within agreed timescales.
• Escalate significant safeguarding, welfare or compliance concerns to the operations lead/Managing director.
